The Northern Lights Experience
4-Day Winter Aurora Tour – Yellowknife, Northwest Territories
Tour Overview
Witness one of nature's most extraordinary spectacles — the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) — dancing across the vast winter skies above Yellowknife, the capital of Canada's Northwest Territories. Yellowknife is consistently rated as one of the world's top aurora viewing destinations, with clear skies on up to 240 nights per year.
Over 4 magical days, you will experience thrilling dog sledding through snowy boreal forests, try your hand at ice fishing on Great Slave Lake, and spend evenings out under the stars waiting for the aurora to appear. Our expert guides know the best viewing spots and will position you perfectly for the show.
This tour operates from late November to early April — the prime aurora season when the nights are longest and darkest. All warm clothing and gear is provided, so you can focus entirely on the experience.
