Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day1
Arrival in Calgary – Transfer to Banff

Arrive at Calgary International Airport. Transfer to Banff (90 min). Check in to your lodge, meet your guides, and enjoy a welcome dinner. Evening briefing about the tour.

Day2
Banff National Park – Lake Louise & Moraine Lake

Morning hike to the iconic Lake Louise with its emerald waters and Victoria Glacier backdrop. Afternoon visit to stunning Moraine Lake. Wildlife spotting opportunities throughout the day.

Day3
Banff Town & Sulphur Mountain

Morning hike up Sulphur Mountain (or gondola ride) for panoramic views. Afternoon exploration of Banff townsite, the Cave and Basin, and Johnston Canyon.

Day4
Icefields Parkway Drive – Athabasca Glacier

Scenic drive along the world-famous Icefields Parkway. Visit the Athabasca Glacier and Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre. Wildlife spotting (elk, bighorn sheep, sometimes bears).

Day5
Jasper National Park – Maligne Lake

Arrive in Jasper. Boat cruise on the stunning Maligne Lake to Spirit Island. Afternoon hike along Maligne Canyon. Wildflower meadows and spectacular mountain scenery.

Day6
Jasper – Pyramid Lake & Wildlife Evening Tour

Morning hike around Pyramid Lake. Afternoon free time in Jasper townsite. Evening guided wildlife viewing tour — prime times to spot elk, deer, coyotes, and possibly grizzly bears at dusk.

Day7
Return to Calgary – Departure

Morning transfer back to Calgary airport. Optional stop at Lake Louise for final photos. Farewell lunch with your guide team. Depart with memories to last a lifetime.

The Rockies are home to black bears, grizzly bears, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, wolves, coyotes, and eagles. While sightings are never guaranteed, the Banff-Jasper corridor has some of the highest wildlife density in North America.

Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance including emergency medical evacuation coverage is mandatory for this tour. Mountain environments can be remote, and helicopter rescue can be extremely expensive without insurance.
